Great to hear our Customers say nice things about our Transfers

All our staff understands that your ski holiday starts with your airport transfer. That is why we only employ experienced, friendly and pro-active drivers. We never knowingly let any passenger down with our transfer service.

Having said all this, it is still nice to get the odd email from customers, thanking us for what we think is part of our service. Below the pick of what our customers had to say last month about our Geneva airport transfers.

“I just wanted to thank you and your drivers for our transfers last week. All drivers were very friendly and accommodating – nothing was too much trouble. The communications leading up to the collection were brilliant – we weren’t easy to find! And all the party loved the fact that our name was on an iPad at the airport rather than a scrappy piece of cardboard! I will have pleasure in recommending you to our friends. Best wishes and we look forward to using you again next year.”

Lesley

“Many thanks for highly efficient transfers between Geneva and Tignes, under very testing weather conditions. Your drivers did a great job, and I was particularly impressed that our return driver pulled up at precisely the time agreed, and got us from Tignes to the airport in 2h45 – my fastest ever time for this journey.”

Regards, Julian

“Thank you for a great service to Les Arcs and back to Geneva airport. I will be recommending your company to all my ski colleagues.”

Regards, Kieran

“The transfers went smoothly and everyone was appreciative of the courtesy and help of the two drivers. I hope I can do business with the company again in the future.”

Thanks, Michael

Thanks to our customer feedback. Even during problematic transfers, we always find a satisfactory solution for arrival delays, problems on route or problems during your stay or on your return. Why not book your transfer now!

Why use Geneva Airport as a gateway to the Alps

So why use Geneva Airport as a gateway to the Alps. Find out some of the reasons wht we think you should fly to Geneva and the choice of ski resorts you have.

As one of the major airports in this part of Europe Geneva airport is a popular ski transfer resort and offers a gateway to some of the most popular of all ski resorts in Europe. Less than 5km from Geneva, in Switzerland, this is a location that has a great deal to offer those who enjoy winter sports. Some of the finest skiing in the region can be found within easy reach of the airport, hence the number of airport transfers deals available. It is worth knowing that there are two parts to Geneva airport – one being a French domestic service and the other the Swiss international airport.

Airport transfers at Geneva cover a range of ski resorts that can only be described as comprehensive, and as one of the main transport hubs for Alpine destinations it is very well used. With access to resorts in Switzerland as well as in Italy and France there is plenty of scope for travelling to your chosen destination from Geneva Airport. Be aware that as this is such a widely used airport for transfers there is not just a wealth of competition but it is also very busy, so booking in advance – and searching for the best deal – are both advised.

From Geneva you can find airport transfers to the busy Ski Mont Blanc area, which includes illustrious resorts such as Chamonix and Argentiere, two of the most revered in the region, and also to many of the adjoining ski areas, all of which offer an excellent choice of resorts and facilities that are the equal of any. The Aravis and Portes de Soleil ski regions are within easy reach by Geneva airport transfers and there are many more besides. For those wishing to travel further afield Gstaad, a very popular resort, can be reached by airport transfer while within a short distance of the airport itself is the famous resort of Evian, where mineral water and thermal baths add to your experience.
Many people choose to use the very good public transport and taxi services in the region but it is worth booking an airport transfer service in advance as this gives you a direct journey to your hotel and can save you money, especially if in a group.

A charismatic and wonderful region, the area accessible from Geneva Airport is one of the most impressive of all for lovers of winter sports.

Lucky than that we provide very affordable airport transfers to all three resorts as well as to all other ski resorts in France, Switzerland and Italy. Tignes is best reached via Lyon or Chambery, Chamonix is closest to Geneva airport and Les Deux Alpes is most convenient for Grenoble airport.

They combine extensive skiing and snowboarding during the day with an unforgettable night of partying, skiing is a great option for spring and autumn breaks.

Below some key extracts from the report, and we would agree with most of it:

Tignes

Tignes is located in south eastern France near Val d’Isere and was the venue for freestyle skiing at the 1992 Winter Olympics. Tignes is headed by the Grand Motte glacier and is still the most snow sure of all French resorts and ideal for ski and snowboard party people.

Les Deux Alpes

Les Deux Alpes is the second oldest ski resort in France behind Chamonix. The famous Avalanche Nighclub and the atmospheric Smithy’s Bar are a must visit for thoseseeking great entertainment.

Les Deux Alpes is one for the best French ski resorts for students to visit. It has excellent ski and accommodation facilities as well as a vibrant nightlife. It is located at 3,600 m and has the largest skiiable glacier in Europe, from the top of which, you can ski down all the way to the village below.

Chamonix

Chamonix own is bursting with a student friendly atmosphere and has an impressive number of bars and restaurants that cater perfectly to gaggles of partygoers and student nights out (although probably not the cheapest one you had)
